Al-Madinah International University

September 10th, 2009 Posted in 123 Triad

The idea of establishing Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) was mooted by a group of renowned Muslim scholars who wanted to provide contemporary Muslims with modern yet suitable educational tools which would equip them for the harsh reality of living in the Muslim world today - a world that is desperately plagued by war, prejudice, poverty, injustice and illiteracy.

Each of their academic programmes goes through a rigorous approval process before they are offered to the public. All programmes currently offered at MEDIU are approved by MQA and MOHE. The MQA is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the quality assurance practices and accreditation of national higher education. This entity is responsible for quality assurance of higher education for both the public and the private sectors. The primary objectives of postgraduate programs are the development of sound scholarship and a degree of specialization which will lead to advancement of knowledge and prepare the student for intellectual leadership.
